Trinity College Campus Safety Officers and Dispatchers Will Soon Be Voting to Join Our Union
4/7/2021 Hartford, CT - Soon the full-time and regular part-time Campus Safety Officers and Dispatchers working at Trinity College in Hartford, CT will soon have an opportunity to vote for the United Federation LEOS-PBA Law Enforcement Officers Security & Police Benevolent Association once the NLRB sets a mail ballot election date to conduct a secret ballot election.
On 4/5/2021 Trinity College Campus Safety Officers and Dispatchers filed a RD election to decertify their present International Union. After a number of Trinity College Campus Safety Officers and Dispatchers learned that a NLRB RD petition would essentially leave these Trinity officers without a Union making them "AT-WILL" employees they immediately contacted the United Federation LEOS-PBA Law Enforcement Officers Security & Police Benevolent Association organizing department for help in intervening in this election, which we immediately did upon proof of our showing of interest which was submitted to the NLRB.
We will must now wait for the NLRB to set a date for this mail ballot election to commence.
