LEOSU Files Another NLRB Petition This Time to Represent the 300 Paragon Systems PSO's in San Di
San Diego California September 4, 2020. - With the summer of 2020 coming to an end the Law Enforcement Officers Security Unions LEOSU-CA, LEOS-PBA is already on a fast start with its first National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) filing of its newest NLRB petition this time to represent the 300 Paragon Systems Inc Protective Service Officers PSO's in San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino and Imperial Counties in California.
On September 9th, 2020 the NLRB is scheduled to open the ballots in another NLRB election recently filed in Los Angeles on behalf of the 351 Paragon Systems Inc Protective Services Officers PSO's working at federal building in Los Angeles, Orange County & surrounding areas in California. On September 4th the NLRB also sent out the ballots in another NLRB election the LEOSU-CA had filed for on behalf of the Paragon Systems Inc Protective Service Officers PSO's working @ Air and Marine Operations Center (AMOC)
All three Paragon Systems Inc units the LEOSU-CA is seeking to represent are now presently represented by the International Union, Security, Police & Fire Professionals of America SPFPA.
While the NLRB has officially scheduled dates to count the ballots, in both the Los Angeles & AMOC elections, a Request for Review an (APPEAL) of the NLRB Regional Directors Decision and Direction of Election (DDE) has been filed by the incumbent Union with the NLRB in Washington DC. Until such time as to the NLRB in Washington DC making its decision on these Request for Review filed by the incumbent Union, the NLRB will impound all ballots in accordance with the NLRB new Board rules. The LEOSU-CA and its attorneys are very confident that the Request for Review (APPEAL) will be denied in both cases and that LEOSU-CA will be selected as the new collective bargaining agent.
