LEOSU Wins 2 Two Major NLRB Orders Denying Intervenor's Motion to Dismiss our Two (2) Paragon S
Los Angeles, California - On July 9th and July 23rd 2020 the National Labor Relations Board Region 21 has made a ruling denying Intervenor's motions to dismiss our two (2) pending petitions to represent the Paragon Systems, Inc. Protective Service Officers PSO's working at federal buildings throughout Los Angeles, Orange County and surrounding areas, as well as the Protective Service Officers PSO's working at (CBP) Air and Marine Operations Center (AMOC) in Riverside California.
Both these Paragon Systems Inc groups now represented by the Intervenor are seeking to leave their present Union to join the Law Enforcement Officers Security Unions LEOSU-CA. In total there are 362 Paragon Systems Inc PSO's in these two groups. On Monday July 27th the NLRB will be conducting a hearing in the (CBP) Air and Marine Operations Center (AMOC) group, while the Los Angeles, Orange County and surrounding area PSO's are just waiting for the NLRB to issue an Order of Election which is forthcoming.
Steve Maritas LEOSU Organizing Director had noted we are very pleased that the NLRB has ruled in our favor noting that the motion arguments made by the intervenor in both cases had no legal merit. "We look forward to having an an election date set soon so that these 362 Paragon Systems, Inc PSO's can finally have their voices heard" noted Maritas
